Booking formalities

Each booking must be accompanied by a deposit equal to 30% of the complete booking cost. This must be paid within 14 days of the original request (but quicker if the booking is to start within that time). If the payment isn’t received within the specified time, the pre-booking will be considered cancelled automatically. The rest of your booking must be paid 14 days before the beginning of the holiday. All optional extras (meals, drinks etc.) and taxe de séjour will be invoiced during your stay. Any products and services provided by external suppliers (massages, lift passes, ski lessons etc.) must be fully paid at the time of booking.

Covid Policy

To be able to stay in our chalet we will require you to present an up-to-date vaccine passport, in line with current government guidelines. We will request proof of your vaccine passport within the 2 weeks prior to your arrival and failure to provide valid documentation at this point or on arrival at the chalet will not result in a refund.

Modification and cancellation by the client

Cancellation or modification of your stay for any justifiable reason linked to COVID-19 (please see list below) is fully reimbursable or your dates can be modified to any available date..

  • Closure of French borders or borders of origin country
  • Lockdown or quarantine period imposed in the client’s city or country of origin
  • Travel restrictions placed on France or your country of origin
  • Closure of our establishment for sanitary reasons
  • 100% closure of the resort of La Rosière*
  • A party member has a COVID-19 infection or suspected infection

*Please note if the resort remains viably active (e.g. there is a range of activities offered, pistes open etc) in spite of any possible lift closures then you will not be eligible for a refund.

These situations must be currently in place at the time of cancellation and proof will be requested.

Any cancellation, for any other reason, must be notified by written confirmation (email or letter). The date of reception will determine the cancellation date, which will then be subject to the following fees:

  • If cancelling more than 90 days before arrival, the deposit will be fully reimbursed;
  • If cancelling between 89 and 14 days before arrival, the deposit is non refundable;
  • If cancelling less than 14 days before arrival, the entirety of the cost of the booking is non refundable.

Any modification to a booking is only possible with the permission of ‘Chalet l’Aiglon’ and can be subject to similar fees. An early departure is not subject to a refund of any kind.

The residence cannot accept responsibility in case of personal, economic or meterological events leading to a cancellation of the booking.

Cancellation insurance

We draw your attention to the fact that we do not include cancellation insurance in our pricing, it is therefore strongly advised that you make sure you are correctly insured.

Pricing Information

The price of one night means two people (two adults, or one adult and one child) or four people in the case of the family suite. On the basis of Bed & Breakfast, this includes the night and breakfast in the chalet. On the basis of half-board, it includes night, breakfast and dinner in the chalet, upon reservation and according to availability. Half board only applies 6 nights a week (no meals possible on Wednesdays) for dinner with a set menu. Any consumption of drinks with your dinner will be charged in addition to the rates indicated. The price includes: Wi-Fi connection, ski lockers, access to the relaxation area and the spa during opening hours (massages are extra and upon reservation and according to the availability of our external provider). The tourist tax (taxe de séjour) is not included in the prices indicated.

Information about your stay

Rooms will be available from 3pm on the arrival day and check-out on the day of departure is at 10am.Any damage to the rooms will be invoiced to the client. Animals are not accepted.


We present a general description and photos of our apartments as an indication. The photos are not contractual. The client has 48 hours after arrival to report in writing to the hosts of the establishment any dispute concerning the description, quality or cleanliness of their room. After this period, we will not consider any claim relating to the previous points. We are not responsible for defects in TV and internet services (which depend on external providers). Chalet l’Aiglon will not accept any liability for loss, theft and / or damage or injury to property and / or persons on the property, regardless of the cause.

Interior rules

The spa area is a space reserved exclusively for guests (no invitations possible). The opening hours may be exceptionally modified for technical reasons. We reserve the right to set slots or to exclude guests who do not respect the interior rules of the chalet or that affect the tranquility of other guests.
